Celebrate the season with selections from Handel's Messiah, a beloved work that has inspired audiences since its premiere in 1742. Featured soloists and a volunteer chorus come together for this annual community event, with audience members invited to sing along with the choruses if they wish. In keeping with the charitable spirit of the work's earliest performances, admission is free and donations will be accepted to support a local organization serving children and families.

A limited number of Messiah scores will be available for those who would like to join in and sing along.

The Elixir of Love (L'elisir d'amore) is Donizetti's charming comic opera about love, confidence, and a little bit of supposed magic. Shy and sincere Nemorino is hopelessly in love with the clever and independent Adina, who seems just out of reach. When a traveling salesman arrives with a mysterious "love potion," Nemorino becomes convinced it may be the answer to winning her heart. What follows is a delightful mix of misunderstandings, jealousy, humor, and heartfelt romance as Nemorino discovers that love may have less to do with magic than he thinks.
